This synonym card pack helps children to experiment with using different synonyms to make their writing more interesting. There are 14 sets of 8 synonym cards in this pack, and two larger synonym groups for ‘walk’ and ‘said’. The synonyms can be cut out and given to children or groups of pupils. Each set of synonym cards is available in two sizes, and blank versions are also provided so that children can add their own synonyms to grow a group. The synonym ladders included in this pack can be used to group the synonyms according to intensity, with the loudest, largest or more intense version of that synonym at the top of the scale.
