This is a PPT which includes a comprehensive inclusion of every part of the Natural Law Theory that would be needed to be taught up to A Level. It has been used with legacy and new examination specifications. The PPT includes 3 separate learning objectives which can be used in 2 or 3 different lessons if needed: 1. To explain Natural Moral Law as a theory of ethics 2. To analyse the usefulness of NML in the modern day context of ethical behaviour 3. To evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of Natural Moral Law This lesson has been graded outstanding.

Lent - The importance and significance for Christians

(1)
This new resource is perfect for an introduction to Lent and Easter lessons or activities. The bible quote exercise is appropriate for most key stages and is abridged to help with difficult words and phrases. The PPT includes well thought out LOs and a hyperlink on the first page. Also there are fun facts about lent throughout as well as a whole school focus. Look out for my assembly/form tutor task on the same subject!
Hinduism: Brahman and Atman

Hinduism: Brahman and Atman

(0)
This is a lesson on Brahman and Atman. It focusses on the issue of manifestation and the link between the ultimate questions of Hinduism and the challenging concept of Brahman. There is also a extension challenge 'take it further' task attached as well as a lesson plan. This was used for an official observation and was deemed excellent. It is pitched for high ability year 7s but would suit year 8,9 or GCSE (with some tinkering) too. Resources that would go well with this is 'Play Doh' and water with salt (for the analogy). Enjoy!

This resource is designed for GCSE RS, but has been Geography as well as A Level for both subjects. It contains a comprehensive and in depth look at global warming and climate change. This includes the meaning, problems, consequences and solutions. It also contains a focus on Stewardship, but this can easily be worked around. The lesson was graded outstanding and includes visual, auditory and kinesthetic learning and has lots of tasks focused on intense progress in learning. The resource contains: - Lesson plan - PPT with learning objectives and embedded short clips. - Differentiated notes - Starter questions for round robin quiz Hope you enjoy!

Just War Theory + application

(1)
This lesson was planned and carried out for an official observation and was deemed outstanding. It is a revision of the content of Just War Theory and then moves on to apply the theory to real wars. This is ideal for mixed to high ability groups, but could be edited to allow for mixed/lower ability. Attached is: PPT Application table sheet Info Sheet Pupil Evaluation
