This lesson is designed to meet the standards of the new Higher RMPS exam (valid from August 2016). Pupils learn how to explain the importance of the Three Jewels for Buddhists and how to describe the Dhamma. The resource can be taught in 1-2 periods. It contains a PowerPoint to give structure to the lesson, a flip chart with activities for pupils, the lesson plan and two worksheets. Activities include ‘Think pair share’, to give thinking time and encourage pupils to discuss and take others’ views on board, watching and discussing video-clips, a starter and exit ticket to monitor pupil understanding.
