This resource is a classic game in foreign language teaching called Spot it or Dobble. This is a simplified version to play in pairs and practice sports vocabulary in Spanish. It is intended for children or young students, from elementary up to intermediate levels.
The game includes 30 cut-out spot it cards + instructions on how to play.
It also includes a list of the symbols included in the spot-it cards for display.

This resource is a classic in foreign language teaching, Alibi game (la coartada perfecta) in which students have to act as criminals and police people. It is intended for pre-intermediate up to upper-intermediate students and it is a fun way to review the past tenses in Spanish.

The worksheets are intended for pre-intermediate, intermediate and upper-intermediate students and are great for the first day of class (so that students get to know each other better). In addition, they can also be used at any time during the course to talk about likes, preferences, carry out surveys and questionnaires in class and practice verb tenses (presente de indicativo, presente de subjuntivo, preterito perfecto, preterito perfecto compuesto) in a motivating and fun way. This resource includes several activities around the topic horoscopes, personality/character description in Spanish and is intended for upper-intermediate and advanced students (B2+ to C2, according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages).
You will find the following activities:
- 3 pages long worksheet with 5 activities on the Spanish short film Horoscopo (available on Youtube and DailyMotion). Please keep in mind that the short film has some swear words and is therefore not suitable for students under the age of 16.
- 3 pages long fun worksheet for students to create their own weekly Horoscope (In my class each student wrote the weekly horoscope of his/her partner. Then we shared some of their fun predictions.)
- 3 pages long chart for students to fill in with the characteristics of each zodiac sign (I have used this activity to review positive and negative personality adjectives. You can ask groups to look for zodiac sign descriptions in the Internet in order to complete the chart and then let them compare and see if their descriptions are alike.)

This resource includes a set of 36 'Would you rather' cards in Spanish for intermediate and upper-intermediate students. Each card contains a question with two options to choose from. The questions do easily encourage discussions and are intended to make students talk about unexpected matters and/or stand up for an option they would not choose in a normal situation.
The resource includes teacher's notes and options on how to use this activity in class.
Keep in mind that the questions are for students who have an intermediate, upper-intermediate level of Spanish (B1-B2+, according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages).

This is a 16 pages long resource which includes 15 photos for conversation practice. Each photo includes:
- useful vocabulary prompts to give students ideas and help them have something to say
- 4 to 6 conversation questions related to the photograph for students to talk about and answer
This resource is meant for photo description practice, that is, the typical monologue exercise that usually comes up in speaking exams where students need to describe a picture and comment on a question related to that picture. However, the pictures can also be used for normal speaking practice in pairs or small groups if you wish. The photos relate to topics such as: travelling, means of transport, mobile phones, holidays, friendhip, family, sports, shopping, etc. That is why they are ideal for intermediate and upper-intermediate students of Spanish as well as GCSE or AS students (English Curriculum).
