Get set for Autumn with the common exception words for year 1. Each high frequency word appears in bold, simple lettering in a cute pumpkin. Four words per A4 paper. These are perfect for back to school, Autumn term or Harvest display. The high frequency words are great on working walls or English displays. The cards can be used as flash cards or in a pocket chart to develop pupil’s speed reading of the high frequency words. Here are all the common exception words for year 2. Bold writing and bright blue background make these perfect for display or a small washing line but they also make great flash cards. This is my favourite blue for my classroom use and I hope you’ll like it as much as I do. These clip cards are a great way for students to practice their recognition of vertebrates and invertebrates using a multiple choice system. 32 cards are included. Each card has a choice of two answers. Students select the correct answer by clipping a clothespin, peg or paper clip to it. Answer sheet included so pupils can self check their work. I like to laminate these cards so students can simply circle the correct answer using a dry erase marker. Alternatively, you can print these on paper to hand out to your class at the end of the lesson; pupils circle the correct answer and hand in as a great exit ticket or plenary to the lesson.
