This resource includes Back to School All About Me Activities. This packet comes with two choices of writing activities, stick puppet templates, paper bag puppet templates, All about Me Poster, photo template for a family photo collage, and a Getting to Know You gross motor game. The writing activities come with diverse children clip art so that the various children in your classroom can be represented. One writing option comes with lined paper for children to write sentences; or you may help children write their sentences. These number bonds sheets with simple fall graphics will be a helpful resource for teaching your students how to solve and how to create number bonds. Fall Number Bonds allows children to add up to number ten. For the first set of number bonds, allow children to count to figure out the sum; allow the children to write the correct sum in the circle. For the second set of number bonds, allow children to count and subtract to figure out the missing number in the problem; allow the children to write the correct number in the circle. This activity packet comes with Monster Name Practice sheet and Monster Build-A-Name. For Monster Name Practice, write children’s names on the ribbon strip. Next, let children build their names with magnet letters. Let children stamp their names with letter stamps. Finally, let children write their names; they may use crayons, markers, or pencils. Monster Name Practice comes in colorful and black and white options. Monster Build-A-Name is editable. For Monster Build-A-Name, edit the letters to match the letters in your students name. Please, only edit the letters; do not claim any of the work in this packet as your own. I have used Pond Free Me for the font for the letters because it closely resembles handwriting that would be familiar to children. You may change the font to anything you wish if you do not want to use this one. You may also choose to change the size and color of the font as well. Click on the letter on the candy, and you should be able to edit the letter. If you have never edited in Word and can not get it to work, please email me. I will explain it to you more. After you have all the letters that you need printed out, cut out the monster and the candies. Tell the children that the baby monster needs candy; tell them that the candies will spell their name. Have the children find the candies with the letters that are in their names. Have the children put the letters of their name in order. Have the children tape the candy letters together. These play based shape activities are perfect for young learners just learning shapes and colors. Included are shape cards. Print out as many of the cards as you wish. Then simply laminate, cut, and use! There are shape cards for sorting games. Allow the children to sort the cards by like shapes that are also big and little or by color. You may make as many copies of the cards as you wish so that their may be more matches to sort! The green cards have one matching shape card each; one matching shape is big and the other small; the shapes that match are different colors. This way the cards allow for multiple ways to sort. Also, there are cards for a memory matching game. One copy of each cards will work for a memory game. There are no matching shapes on the purple cards. Make at least two copies for matches! Lastly, there is also shapes for making a shape robot!

This is a great pre-k owl lesson plan filled with hands-on activities! Owl art, math, manipulative, science, and cooking activities are included. There are six activities total including a owl lacing card print-out provided for you. Two owl templates are also provided; the templates go along with the owl puppet lesson. The written daily schedule is a grid of three columns and twelve rows with plenty of room for you to type your schedule with details. There are eleven cards in three different options. This booklet is filled with cute, baby animal pictures. It is informative; it contains the name of each baby animal, and it also contains sight word sentences. Your students will enjoy reading along with you and learning baby animal names. I hope you find this resource to be a helpful, interactive read along booklet. To prep, fold the pages in half, cut the pages into two parts and trim if necessary. Next, staple the corner of the pages. When putting the book together, the page with words goes first, and the page with the picture that matches the word goes next. After the books are prepped, give the books to the children and read along with them. The booklet includes the sight words I, see, the. You may allow the children circle the sight words as they read along with you, or you may use the color code provided and allow the children to color the sight words. The booklet also includes “My favorite baby animal is___.” page. Ask the children what their favorite baby animal is; write their answer on the line. Older children may be able to write their answer without help. Also included is a “My drawing page.” Let the children draw their own animal pictures. Ten pages of book pages.

Autumn Number Bonds Game Make 5 is an interactive way for your students to learn number sense, basic operations, parts and whole, and how to create and solve number bonds. Use this for for group time instruction as well as for your autumn maths station. Students will combine numbers to create number bonds that add up to 5. This activity comes in both colorful and black and white options. Pick from either colorful or black and white options. Make copies of the apples, pumpkins, and seeds for your students. Make an extra copy of the apples, pumpkins, and seeds; make a copy of the part, part, whole apple and the part, part, whole pumpkin. Laminate your copies. First, use either the part, part whole apple or the part, part whole pumpkin during group work. Explain parts and whole. Use a dry erase marker to write numbers that add up to 5 on the parts circles. After your students understand the concept of parts and whole and adding to make 5, give them either an apple or a pumpkin paper with number 5 number bonds. Also, give them either apple or pumpkin seeds. The seeds have numbers 0 to 5. Allow your students to cut the seeds and paste them on the empty circles of the number bonds to create 5. Help any child who needs help cutting out the seeds. Next, cut out the apples, pumpkins, and seeds that you laminated. Stick Velcro on the empty circles of the number bonds. Stick Velcro on the back of the seeds. Place either the apple or pumpkins and the seeds in your math center. Allow children to Velcro the seeds to the empty circles of the number bonds on the pumpkin or apple to create 5 on their own.
