I am a teacher who has worked with SEND pupils, especially those with literacy problems. I have also taught English as a foreign language. For several years I worked with Easylearn publishers, developing resources for children struggling with English and Maths. I am one of the creators of the Froggy Match-it phonics app, which helps beginner readers to learn to read and spell effectively.

Hunt the Word works on reference skills. It encourages pupils to use dictionaries and helps them to understand their alphabetical organisation, as well as improving spelling. It can be used with all dictionaries, especially First/Junior/Primary dictionaries. The book is suitable for a wide age-range: Key Stage 1 to Key Stage 3.
