I spent two days on this lesson which got me a maternity cover job at an outstanding school! 83 slides of perfection. The lesson starts with teaching the kids about the weather. The starter is a tiny revision of frequency words. Then the rest of the lesson is a building up process, a progression between weather and sports with opinions, frequency and reasons: Quand il fait beau, je joue au football apres l'ecole etc.... This is a fantastic resource which took me forever to put together. It includes a starter with extension and challenge, three quizzes about places in town. Students learn how to use il y a, il n'y a pas. There is a differentiated speaking task. Students then move on to the opinions with intensifiers.
