This is a power point slide going through each of the questions found in the 2012, wjec, unit 1 foundation paper (spec a). This is to be used after they have taken the mock paper. Each slide reviews the questions. Pupils can then go through their papers and make amendments to show progress.

Lesson 1 of 2 from Section A, Unit 2, Urban Issues. Lessons will require the use of the blue AQA Oxford books. Lesson uses exam questions and skills.

5th lesson of multi lesson bundle pack including assessment. Lessons are based on the NEW AQA GCSE Geography Spec. The lesson WILL require the use of the blue AQA Oxford books however the questions may still be applicable to other geography books. All lessons include a timer, a box to indicate how long you should spend on each slide as well as some notes to guide the teacher on each slide and stretch activities. This lesson includes an exam question, alongside an examiners report, mark scheme and opportunity for self/peer assessment with feedback (perfect for making your books look regularly marked). Each of my lessons are designed to be dyslexia friendly with comic sans, boxed writing and pastel colours to help pupils with SEN see the board easier. Lessons are perfect for anyone bogged down with too much planning.

The lesson WILL require the use of the blue AQA Oxford books however the questions may still be applicable to other geography books. This lesson includes a 20 minute video which pupils will use to collect notes. The notes can then be used for you to create a homework activity if you feel they need further challenge. Lesson focuses on the short and long term effects of cannabis. Plenty of room for heated classroom discussion. Good opportunity to lead on to the fact many people who smoke spliffs often end up smoking full time due to added tobacco to it. Gives a good chance for those 'cool' kids who smoke weed but are against smoking cigs. Chances are they'll end up smoking ciggies when their older!

Lesson 4 of 5 PSHE lessons focusing on drugs. The content of the video is quite mature as it includes swearing and watching people take drugs. I would recommend year 11 only. Lesson focuses on pupils collecting notes whilst watching the video (50 minutes long so may go into next lesson). Pupils will then build up their notes to write a descriptive diary of being a heroin addict. Pupils are encouraged to use English language skills. The documentary is Cold Turkey which was a channel 4 documentary around 15 years ago.

Lesson 5 of 5 which focuses on pupils writing a descriptive account. A mark sheet/check list for quick marking has been created for either pupils to peer assess or teachers to use as a feedback sheet.

This lesson is a review of the last assessment. Gives the opportunity for the teacher to get the pupils to self assess or to go over the assessment after being given feedback and marks. A good opportunity for pupils to use their purple pens of progress to put corrections around their paper.
