The Mole Bundle

3 Resources
A variety of mole related tasks for your classroom: - A worksheet designed to work students through mole calculations. There are two worksheets in one here, with a low and high ability version, making it ideal for mixed ability classes. The low ability worksheet focuses on key elements such as carbon and oxygen in order to familiarise students with important atomic masses, whilst the high ability sheet introduces new elements. The low ability version also comes with [tips] in squared brackets and both worksheets have an optional challenge box for fast finishers. - A chain game worksheet designed to lighten a relatively dry topic that is perfect for use as a conclusion. - A Christmas themed mole worksheet designed to strike the balance between Christmas fun and useful lesson time.

KS4 electrolysis worksheet - AQA or Edexcel

Perfect practice for electrolytic products. I have included two differentiated sheets - one foundation and one higher tier. I use the foundation sheet with my bottom set foundation year 10 to help cement the concept of predicting the product of molten and aqueous electrolysis at each electrode. This is something that, with a little practice, they can easily pick up marks on. For my higher ability groups, I either use the foundation sheet as a starter, or the full higher tier sheet as a consolidation task with my triple group to help those who are a little unsure. I sometimes use it as a task weeks later after having taught the content to my triple group to check recall skills. I then use the foundation sheet as a year 11 starter with my triple groups for further recall. Answer sheets included.
