A one page word document which summarizes the formation of fold mountains. Also explains evidence of folding and briefly touches on young and old fold mountains. Includes a very simple diagram to supplement the description of their formation.

A worksheet based on Belgian singer/songwriter Angele.
The worksheet begins with a short comprehension followed by English questions. This gives an overview of her life and how she got into music.
Second exercise is based on her song ‘Tout Oublier’. Students must watch the music video and put the images from the video in the correct order.
Finally, there are selected words from the lyrics of the song and students must catagorize the words e.g. an adverb, a past participle, an infinitive verb etc…
I use this resource with my TY classes as Angele is very current. Beware… Some of her music is explicit! Song chosen is OK for class.

A 15 slide PPT with animations and transitions inserted. Explains cool temperate oceanic climates using Ireland as the reference country. Discusses location, temperature, precipitation, agricultural opportunities, vegetation and animals. Contains a 'to do' slide with 2 questions linked to factors affecting climate (see my shop for this PPT) and also has a 'debate' slide with two questions for discussion. This could be done as part of a think-pair-share exercise or as a whole class discussion/debate. Also attached is a short worksheet on the topic which could be assigned for homework or used as an exam.

Includes key question words, hints & tips for approaching the comprehensions and guidance on the ‘trouvez dans le texte’ question where students are asked to find a certain type of word in the text.
2 word docs based on 'Les professions/Les métiers' in French.

Second document is a one page word document worksheet based on the professions/jobs in French. Contains one translation exercise and one comprehension exercise. Could be used for HW, class task or exam.
A 25 question 'Haribo' quiz based on Secondary Economic Activities. Aimed at Irish Junior Cert Curriculum but most questions are universal and can easily be adapted if they don't suit. A great way to revise the chapter before an exam and also very good for assessing students' understanding/memory of the topic. I use Haribo jellies as the prize so I call it a Haribo quiz! Students love it!
An 18 slide PPT on Earthquakes- suitable for junior students/1st years. Includes images, keywords and video clips. There are some ‘to do’ and ‘homework’ slides which refer to our textbook and workbook (Geography in Action), but these can be adapted to suit your own book.

A 14 slide PPT based on the Boreal climate. Discusses the temperature and precipitation in the boreal regions and explains how vegetation and animals adapt in this cold climate. Contains pictures, animations and transitions. The last slide is a 'to do' slide which directs the students to questions in their text book. This can be amended to suit your class.
Worksheets to be sued for a pair activity (listening & comprehension). Description of a bedroom ('La chambre' vocab and prepositions revision) and an empty box on each worksheet. Students must listen to their partner read the description and draw the image to correspond with the paragraph. Each bedroom description is different.
Adjectives:
The first hand out explains how to make adjectives agree in gender and in number and also gives examples. It is a two page word document and is appropriate for all levels.
The second document is an exam (could also be used as a class activity or as homework) and has two sections; first section is a simple French to English translation and second section is a grid in which students must write out the adjectives in feminine and plural form.
Also attached is a worksheet in which students must insert the correct form of the adjective in each sentence and then translate each sentence. Could also be used as an exam.
