A great addition to any classroom, this feelings fan has been created with worldwide known emojis to help develop children’s vocabulary and allow children to explain their feelings to adults and other children. Created in both Ukrainian and phonetic Ukrainian, it allows children from Ukraine to settle in to a new classroom and be able to be confident and independent. It also helps other children to learn some feeling names in Ukrainian and communicate with each other when language is a barrier.
I have previously used this feelings fan to help children with English as an Additional Language (EAL) and SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities). It allows them to be able to vocalise how they are feeling, helping to ease anxiety of a new classroom.
This file is in PDF format. You can print, laminate, cut them out and secure together with a paper fastener/split pin.
