This worksheet was designed to fit perfectly with the Pearson EDEXEL 9-1 Chinese GCSE Book. This corresponds directly with Unit 1, Section 1: My Life (Likes and dislikes). The worksheet increases in difficulty as it goes and is ideal for a GCSE group or even an able year 9 class. Please don’t forget to rate the worksheet when you get the email. Thank you!
Writing extended sentences in Mandarin Chinese

Writing extended sentences in Mandarin Chinese

This worksheet was designed to help my students increase the length of sentences that they could write. I included some modal verbs such as ‘can’ and ‘must’ as well as locations and people that they could say they did the activity with. I had to do some work on word order first and it follows that well. Please leave me a rating!

AQA GCSE Spanish Foundation Photocard Speaking Practice - Food/Healthy Eating Topic

In this pack you will find 4 photocards based on the topic of Food/Healthy Eating each followed by a teacher version, with the additional 2 unseen questions for the teacher to ask. This is also followed by advice to score the highest marks, with examples which are directly referenced to the mark scheme. I created these to help prepare students for the AQA speaking exam but they could also be used to prepare for the EDXECEL speaking exam, or at KS3 to prepare for the style of exam that the students will face at GCSE. Please don’t forget to rate this resource! Thanks!

I have prepared this for you! The pack includes 4 photocards with the pupil and teacher version (the teacher version includes the 2 unseen questions) and the mark scheme helpfully attached to the teacher version for quick reference. EDEXCEL Mandarin Chinese GCSE Unit 1.5 When I was young Worksheet (follows the official book)

This worksheet is the 5th and final part of my set of accompanying resources to follow Unit 1 of the EDEXCEL official Mandarin Chinese book. I have taught this course and I am helping other teachers by offering a set of resources that compliment the book and can be used by anyone, with as little preparation as possible, allowing you to spend less time on planning and have a better work-life balance. NOTE Sometimes the preview window doesn’t show the resource at its best and the words look out of sync. Don’t worry, the resource will look perfect when you download it!

Spanish bookmarks for creative writing

I designed this resource to help with KS3 (and to an extent KS4) writing tasks. It is especially aimed at boys to aid them by giving them sentence starters and key words to keep them focused and on task. There are also “super” phrases to stretch the most able. Therefore, this activity is also differentiated. I have created the template in Publisher so just print them out on card (ideally in colour) and allow the pupils to keep them in their books for homework tasks and extended writing in class, or keep them safe yourself and hand them out during lessons when you are planning writing activities. Please leave me a rating and a comment!
