Selection of winter sport flashcards based on the Olympics
EAL: Phonics Sorting Game
A phonics sorting and matching game. Students match letters to the pictures. To stretch better students use the word cards and have students match the letters, the picture and the words.
Students can play this game by themselves or in small groups.
Can also be used for students who struggle with the alphabet or to build up students vocabulary.
Science: Plant Life Cycle
Activity and presentation about plant life cycles.
The videos work with the presentation.
EAL: The Weather
PPT on the weather.
Slides 2-6: Each slide will show either the weather word or a picture of the weather.
If the word is displayed- encourage students to draw a picture of the word.
If the picture is displayed- encourage students to guess the word for the weather displayed.
Slide 7: Each picture appears on a mouse click. Encourage students to guess which weather appears.
Slide 8-12: Use the sentence strap to help students associate weather with different clothes.
