I am now a retired teacher having taught for over 40 years in the UK at secondary level. I wanted to share my love of Mathematics and teaching by providing a good set of resources which will more than cover all your needs for as many topics as I can and at good value for money. I am trying to cover many topics from foundation level GCSE up to grade 9 at higher level in a way that is interesting and relevant. I hope you like my style !

Circles and Tangents for 'A' Level - With Answers

This is a very thorough worksheet covering all that is needed for top grade students on the theory of Circles and tangents. Some of these questions are difficult for the average ‘A’ level student these days but all serve as excellent examples and the theory covered has both breadth and depth. two pages of work here - with answers ( which I have kept as neat as possible) This took a tremendous amount of work, so I hope it is of use to someone. Answers are included. Please leave feedback, particularly if you like my work - thank you.

This pdf covers everything needed to teach, practice or revise G.P.'s for ‘A’ level. 20 full questions (30+ questions including sub-questions in total) getting progressively harder over two pages. I always found G.P. questions difficult to write as the numbers get so big / small so quickly and become unmanageable so I wrote this one and it has done a great job over the years. Formulae needed are given on the sheet and answers are included. This is as good as they get before attempting full ‘A’ level questions. Answers are included Please leave feedback, particularly if you like my work - thank you.

Miscellaneous Series for Grade A / B with Answers

This is a bonus sheet of around 20 questions that I felt was necessary for higher grades at A level. Each question needs a bit more thought than simply following the routines and applying formulae. This set of questions are tricky but really well thought out - I have avoided large text problems - you need to get these from past papers so kept them brief but searching. Included is the A.Ps and G.Ps fact sheet too. Answers are included. Please leave feedback, particularly if you like my work - thank you.

Integration Using Logarithms - 20 Questions With Answers

(0)
This is a useful set of questions that every ‘A’ level student should be aware of. Although they can all be integrated by substitution, every student should be aware that f’(x)/f(x) integrates to give ln(fx) - and I always taught this as a sideline to the method of substitution - this crops up on exam papers every year without fail and students should be able to recognise it immediately. I have written 20 questions to practice this and all have answers - of the form that I would expect my students to give. I hope you find it useful. Please give feedback. particularly if you like my work - thank you. Answers are provided.
