Activity Idea This resource can be used by turning the cards over and asking the children taking part to select a random card. Ask them to count how many beans they can see on their card and write the number in the bean tin. Here is a fun resource you can place on your classroom door to make the morning greeting more fun. The children can read the number as a word or number sentence to press the correct number. This can be changed weekly or daily. You could even ask the children to press one more or one less than a number you say or read the number as a word to them.
