17 lesson scheme of work on persuasive writing: speeches, informal letters, formal letters & articles (KS3/KS4)

A task that combines literature & language. Pupils must annotate a model, plan and then write a speech in which they defend a character from the play they believe deserves the sympathy of the audience. Can be used for a class debate or Spoken Language task, as well as a writing activity. ***Pupils should have read the entire play first *** Print the worksheet A3. Useful for KS3 or KS4.
