Nothing gets children talking quite like choices. This cut and stick activity is bursting with choices to fire their imaginations, but is also "print and go" so perfect for busy teachers. Let their imaginations run wild as they design their own alien. Choose a body design and then add arms, legs,eyes etc... Choose full colour or colour your own. Now get them to tell you all about him/her. Ideas for conversation prompts and speaking games included.

Children can choose from 5 different flavours of ice cream and 6 different toppings to create their own, unique, mouthwatering visual treat. 2 differentiated order forms allow children to simply organise data or calculate the total cost of their creation. This is also a great "talk about" resource. Why not ask the children to "tell me about your ice-cream". Each child has a printed answer sheet (differentiated sheets available) on which they trace or colour in their parts. The first child to complete their whole picture wins.
