A gap-fill exercise to practice recognising verbs. I thought this would be a fun activity for my 10/11 years olds who are just starting to learn verbs. It proved to be a huge success. They loved it. They found the translations so funny that and by the end of the class they knew all French 10 idioms off by heart. They went away from the class saying that they wanted to research more French idioms and offered to do it for homework!! Wow!! I wonder what they will come up? Please take the time to comment if you find this worksheet of any use. Your feedback is much appreciated.

A graduated ‘fill-in’ worksheet using reflexive verbs and time for your daily routine. What time do you wake up, get up, get washed, get dressed? etc… Answer, I wake up, get up, etc. followed by a particular time. Good for reinforcing and revision of clock times plus the use of reflexive verbs. I have purposely left times blank, so children can choose whatever they would like. Any feed back would be most appreciated. My thanks to clker.com for the use of the clipart pics.

Revision worksheet to revise the expressions - 'Qu'est-ce que tu as dans ton sac' OR 'Qu'est-ce qu'il y a dans ton sac?' To make it a game I gave my children 5 mins to draw and name as many objects or animals as they could. They were to name nouns in the plural form as well as in the singular from. When the time was up, they worked in pairs, asking each other what they had or what there was in their bag. They replied with either 'Dans mon sac j'ia...' or 'Dans mon sac il y a .'.
