Un Repas Sain - Un Repas Malsain
An activity where the children have to design a healthy meal and an unhealthy meal in French. I thought this made a pleasant change from making lists of words. Students have to label in French those foods which they have drawn together with the names of the 'place setting&' items. Could be used as a test. Please spare a moment to comment. My weekday routine
To practice reflexive verbs. Also includes the use of other verbs which describe what you do during weekdays. These include: aller, étudier, boire, manger, jouer, faire (les devoirs) regarder and lire. Enjoy and have fun!!

Graduated worksheet introducing the concept of saying 'I live in (name of town/city) in (name of country). using 'à&' and &';en'. Children have to match the correct city to the correct country. Reinforces knowledge of countries and their flags.

It's that time of the year when I prepare a 6 month test for the children I teach. (They are 10 & 11 years old) As we have been looking at irregular and regular verbs in the present tense, this is a piece of comprehension I will be giving them together with the question sheet. A gap fill-in activity using a variety of verbs to describe what you do during the school week. Questions asking at what time to do you each of the activities. I have use red ink to intoduce the 'you&' form of the verb. Where the word remains the same as in the first person I have underlined it. Green words are for new vocabulary used for the children that I teach. These can easily be changed back to black if need be. Hope you find this useful. Any feedback is most welcome.

Mon calendrier de l'Avent
A cut and stick activity for students to make their own advent calendar. I have purposly omitted any written words as this is for children who are already familiar with Christmas vocabulary. The idea is that when they open a window they have to name the revealed image. I have included pics in black and white for those of you who are not able to print in colour. Le Petit Déjeuner - matching pairs game
A fun way to practise breakfast vocabulary in French, or in fact any other language Children have to turn two cards over and name the item of food or drink on the card. To win a matching pair they have to name what is on the card correctly. This activity could be extended to using du/de la/ des when either using the expressions 'Je voudrais ... or Je mange ...&'or using le/la/les when expressing opinions about food.
