Studying the environment engages children's attention, sparking their interest and developing their personality. These high-quality, digital 3-part cards cover the external body parts of a bird and include a booklet with interesting facts about each one. The images are all original artwork by the author themselves. The preview is a printable page of four line-drawn bird bodies with writing lines underneath so the children can make their own booklets. Use this amazing resource to jump into discovering other birds or the internal parts of a bird.

Montessori Nomenclature Cards: Body Parts of a Cat

Studying the environment engages a child's attention and sparks their interests, developing their personality through spontaneous activity. These high-quality, hand-drawn 3-part cards depict ten body parts of a cat. They include informative text cards as well as a control booklet, allowing the child to learn independently. They can be used at various levels, according to the child's own skill set. For example, they serve as a vocabulary extension and indirect preparation for reading for young children while older children can practice their reading. They aid classification and rational thinking, visual accuracy and discrimination, develop one-to-one recognition and even encourage writing, as the child can make their own booklet!

Montessori 3-Part Cards: Landforms Drawings & Photos

3-Part Cards introduce new vocabulary, assist classification, early reading and one-to-one correspondence. For nursery age children, the cards consist of a control (picture plus label), picture and label as well as a control booklet with text on each picture. The control cards are laid out on a working area, for example a mat, from left to right. The pictures are matched, then the labels. For discussions, the control booklet can be used as a reading activity or for the child to double check their own work. Older children can trace and label the pictures and make their own booklet. For classrooms with less flexibility on individual work, the cards may be used as flash cards, too. These 3-Part Cards include the ten most basic landforms: island - lake, bay - cape, peninsula - gulf, isthmus - strait, archipelago - system of lakes One set is simple drawings, one set real photos, which is excellent as a learning extension.

Phonetic Initial Sound Poster - Animals Around the World

(0)
This PDF poster contains high-quality animal graphics for each letter of the English alphabet. The initial sound is purely phonetic. Because children love to learn new words, some unusual or rather unknown animals are included. This offers endless opportunities for group or individual discussions as well as cross-curricular and extended learning. I recommend Adobe Acrobat to open the PDF. In the print dialogue, choose "Print as Poster" and find the size that is right for you.
