Introducing meditation

(0)
I made this for flipchart for a short online lesson as part of our ’ What makes a good learner’ series. This introduces pupils to paying attention- using their senses to meditate. THe pupils then used their knowledge to help someone in their house to have a mindful moment. I popped a QR to our class Padlet on the bottom of the scripts so that they could share some of their reflections. What they found difficult, what helped them stay focused etc Learning objectives being: ‘I understand there are things can distract me from learning’ ‘I can use my mind to focus’ .

My class love being a teaching assistant for the day! Benefits include picking up the printing, dismissing for breaks etc and the class vote if they have been a good TA at the end of the day and then they earn a star.

Created for online delivery. Linked to Welsh standards. Based around Bible Reading Luke 10:25 and being a good samaritan / being an ethical global citizen with independent tasks for pupils after lesson. I linked the pupil evaluation in the PPT to a Google form.
