Plotting quadratics graphs (matching activity)

Two sheets with both factorised and unfactorised quadratics. The first sheet matches up with the second demonstrating they are the same expression as the graphs are the same. Work in pairs, match the graphs and observe what you see about both your results.

I hope I am doing this right, I have taken this idea from jordyst and added a couple more countries to give the class a bit more variety on the practice section (and some bigger numbers) I hope I am crediting this correctly, if not please contact me to get it sorted.
sine and cosine rule basic practice (code breaker)

sine and cosine rule basic practice (code breaker)

(1)
15 questions with answers at the bottom including some red herrings. The question "what do you need to be able to use the sine rule?" has the answer "matching letters" when you put the correct letter to each question and read backwards. This just relates to the need for a matching side and angle when using sine rule as many of my pupils seem to think that one rule is for working out angles and the other for sides.
Volume of pyramids and cones (self marking)

Volume of pyramids and cones (self marking)

pictures of various cones and pyramids, calculate the volume. The answers are at the bottom along with some red herrings. If you assign the letters to each question then is spells out "one third of the prism" backwards A couple of errors have now been corrected. The original still works but two answers were missing, I will leave it here as that in itself can be a challenge for the group if they know ahead of time.

Surds (matching activity)

Can you pair up the cards so the question and simplified versions are together. There is a second version where the last column is blank for them to fill in.
Volumes of prisms (row game)

Volumes of prisms (row game)

The aim of a row game is each pair of students get one half of the sheet each. Each half has similar questions. All the answers but a few match up and it is up to the pair to identify which are different. They may also like to edit the questions so they do match up.
Simultaneous equations (row game)

Simultaneous equations (row game)

In a row game there are two sheets, one for each of a pair of students. All the answers are the same except for two. The pair must work out which of their questions have the different answers. Also they may want to edit the questions so they match up.

Volume of cylinders practice (self marking)

Work out the answers to each cylinder volume, all the answers are there. Now has a second version with extra answers at the bottom to act as 'red herrings' There is a terrible joke on there too if you put the letters into the order the questions appear. What did the orchestra buy from the sweet shop "A tuba smarties" Feel free to chop this off the bottom of the sheet if its too bad.
Ratio and proportion for multipacks of cola (investigation)

Ratio and proportion for multipacks of cola (investigation)

Can you work out which cans are the cheapest. A second sheet with a different requirement as I think the "JUST BUY ONE CAN AND BE DONE WITH IT" was a common answer. Help sheets included to be given out or 'bought' by students if they are really struggling. The task has been left a little open but can be focussed on simply working out 'best deal' on the six offers.
Volumes of cuboids and triangular prisms (self marking)

Volumes of cuboids and triangular prisms (self marking)

Calculate the volumes of each of the shapes and check the answer is correct. Putting the letters in the order of the questions reveals a piece of advice "A triangular prism is half of a cuboid!" Oh, and its written backwards so they don't get it too early.
