The Cyclical Incremental Measurable Progress - or CHIMP Chart allows students to show progress over time in English. Through either Teacher, Self or Peer Assessment, students can highlight the criteria they have achieved in each lesson so that their progress is easily demonstrated. Focusing on both reading and writing skills and correlating to both the old and new grading system, students can also track their current levels and set themselves independent targets. This is also a great planning tool to aid with Learning Objectives for lessons, especially when based on gaps in students' learning.
