There are numerous examples of the use of subjunctive with doubt and denial for students to see in context. There are examples of present subjunctive, past subjunctive and present perfect subjunctive in this reading.
Activity idea: After reading, have students circle all the subjunctive forms they find. Afterwards have students discuss their own views on the existence of unknown creatures.
