The attached document provides you with 9 A4 pages already created with half an animal face. The children/students can practice their observational drawing by completing the other half. This makes for a beautiful display. Great ‘start of the school year’ activity.

A PowerPoint outlining classroom jobs. There is enough jobs for 30 children, but these can be amended. Each job comes with a description and image to support.

Times Table Tests from 2-12 and User Guide. This approach supports the less confident mathematicians as well as stretching the more able. It provides a scaffolded approach to taking these tests and supports a growth mindset approach. The User Guide outlines: Aim of this approach An explanation about each of the 4 rounds Tips on delivery and recording of the tests Guidance and advice on what to teach alongside this approach I have used many times table tests over the years with 6-11 year old children, and this approach is the one that not only had the most impact, supported children who used to be anxious about times tables.

This 6 page resource includes question sheets and answers. Is made in black and white to support the printer costs. This resource is aimed at children who are becoming secure with their bonds to 10, or are secure with bonds to 10 and need to link this knowledge to bonds to 20 and 100. This can be used as a morning task, part of a maths lesson, or as I have used them, as daily quizzes to build up their speed.
