I made these tasks for my class to focus on now the SATS are over. They are loving them so far. They love working in groups and presenting to the class. It also creates a healthy bit of competition. Both group tasks involve working collaboratively, budgeting, research , recording information and preparing a presentation. I used the write stuff style planning with my class for Viking Boy by Tony Bradman. We wrote narratives using 5 plot points each with 3 learning chunks. The planning is also included. Also, as my class loved the format, we used the same style for Non-Fiction, newspaper reports. I made an example of a newspaper too as my class also did this for their computing sessions (word processing). I have included this too. We got really good fiction and non-fiction writing from all of the children using these resources. Any questions, please ask.
