Preterit paragraph with irregular verbs

Practice: Imperfect tense conjugation, sentences, and questions. No collaboration or on-line translators
For each verb: 1. conjugate it for all 6 persons in the imperfect tense, 2. Write an original sentence (8 words minimum) with the verb using a different subject (yo, tú, él, names of people etc), 3. Based on the sentence, write an original information question. Vary your question words (Qué, Dónde etc). Your question must be 6 words minimum. Note: if you use a clue word that is 3 words like “todos los días”, it will only count as one word for the sentences and the questions.

Speaking practice with imperfect tense
Choose any 2 -ar, 2 -er, 2 -ir, 1 reflexive, and 3 irregular verbs from the list below or come up with your own. Then, write 10 original information questions with the guidelines below. Then, interview your classmate.
A list of 26 verbs ( 18 regular -ar, -er, -ir, 5 reflexive, and 3 irregular) is included along with a list of question words, clue words (cada tarde etc), and the formula for writing information questions.
As a follow up activity, students can answer their own questions or they can swap papers with their classmate and answer each other’s questions.
