This is a practice on the imperfect tense in Spanish. The practice is divided by sections (-ar, -er, -ir, ser / ir / ver)
Part 1: For -ar, -er, and -ir verbs, students will be given 2 infinitives with stems and they will write the appropriate endings. A list of verb endings is provided on the top of every page.
Part 2: Students will complete 6 original sentences per verb type by conjugating the verb in the imperfect tense and adding 4-5 words.
For irregular verbs (ser , ir, ver), students will write the 6 conjugations for every verb using the word bank provided. Then, they will answer 6 personal questions in the imperfect tense (2 questions per verb)

Irregular present subjunctive practice: Matching, sentences, and questions
Verbs included: dar, ir, ser, haber, estar, haber
Part 1: Matching (write the correct letter for each subject). All 6 persons are included for every verb.
Part 2: Part 2: Complete each sentence in an original manner using a different irregular verb in the present subjunctive. (6 total)
Part 3: Answer each question in a complete sentence in the present subjunctive. (6 total)
Answer key is included for part 1 only. For parts 2 and 3, student answers will vary.
Pages 1-3 are the practice and pages 4-5 are the answer key for part 1 only.
Preterit: I-Y spelling change verbs conversation
Complete each mini conversation with the correct form of the verb in the preterit. Note, there is an i-y spelling change in the 3rd person singular (él / ella/ Ud) and 3rd person plural (ellos / ellas / Uds) forms.

leer, caer, oir (4 mini conversations per verb)
-UIR: construir, destruir (4 mini conversations per verb)

Note: The conversations do not link to any particular vocabulary or theme.

Present subjunctive: Missing element activity
Length: 1 page
Complete each sentence using a missing element: introductory verb (conjugated), que, present subjunctive verb, subject, additional words to expand on the sentence. You cannot repeat subjects, introductory and present subjunctive verbs.
A template is provided with 14 incomplete sentences.
Students can complete the activity individually or in pairs. It can also be used as a bell ringer or exit pass.
This is a practice with 25 personal questions using different reflexive verbs. Students can do the activity orally in pairs. All questions are in the tu form. Some helpful words for students to use in their responses are provided (ex: el champu , el jabon, la navaja etc)

Present subjunctive: Sentences with regular -ar, -er, -ir verbs
Length: 2 pages
This is a practice on writing original sentences with regular -ar, -er, -ir present subjunctive verbs.
For each verb type (-ar, -er -ir), choose the correct present subjunctive verb to match subject 2 from the word bank and write it in the template provided. Then, add 3-4 words to create to expand on the sentence in an original manner. Your sentence must make sense.
Three templates are provided with introductory verbs (conjugated) for students to write their sentences. Students will write a total of 15 sentences (5 per verb type: -ar, -er, -ir)
Present subjunctive verbs used:
-AR: hablar, comprar, ayudar, nadar, mirar
-ER: aprender, leer, vender, beber, comprender
-IR: abrir, escribir, vivir, compartir, decidir
This practice can be used for classwork, homework, bell ringer, exit pass, or quiz.
I-Y Preterit verbs practice
Complete each conjugation with the missing verb elements (ending, spelling change, or part of ending). Then, write a sentence in the preterit after each verb using the subject provided. Your sentence should be 6-7 words and must make sense.

-UIR verbs: destruir, construir, contribuir, huir
For all verbs, students will complete the conjugation for all 6 persons and write one sentence per verb (8 sentences total)
Answer key is included for conjugations only. For sentences, student answers will vary.

This worksheet is a matching practice on the conjugations of the past perfect tense (el pluscuamperfecto).
