This smartboard is a variety of lessons based on the grammar expectations for the end of year 6 SATS. There are 92 slides that have a variety of starters, plenaries and a main activity. All the lessons' main activities are based on a range of past paper SATs using the format the pupils will be exposed to in the actual SATs. The areas that are covered are: -adverbs of time and place -adverbs or adjectives in sentences identification -use of I or me -use of commas -use of apostophes -verb tenses -using correct punctuation : ; - ( ) " " ' , ! ? -plurals -using the same word as a noun and verb -synonyms, antonyms -active and passive voice Ideal for revision purpose and the lessons are for one lesson a week which would be for over a half a term of learning.

This smartboard is aimed for upper key stage 2 and links to the topic of Victorians and the workhouse life. This smartboard has over 70 slides that supports the learning of the children. The use of Street Child , the book , is used in these lesson as. The lessons focus are to: -to plan and then write a diary of child living in a workhouse - 3 lessons -to plan and write a report on the workhouses - 5 lessons Each of the lessons has a starter , main activity and modelling and plenaries. All the learning is conducted through a range of activities from group work, visuals and videos. The starters are sometimes linked to the writing genre and some are grammar starters for the lessons. All the resources are on the smartboards and the only resourcing you may wish to do is a word mat.
