Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star 2 Emergent Reader Booklets - Each booklet contains 8 pages: the title page with 7 additional pages containing the song lyrics. Also included are suggestions for using the booklets and an assembly instruction page. Students first cut, assemble and read the booklet that contains text and illustrations of the popular children's song. They then create their own version using the text only template. The illustration version can be projected in class to present, review and practice pronunciation vocabulary words. The text only version can be projected onto the Smart Board and students can draw pictures that correspond to the text.
Students practice French feelings words with these booklets. Each booklet contains 8 pages: the title page with 7 additional pages. Also included are suggestions for using the booklets and an assembly instruction page.

The title page asks Comment Sont les Citrouilles? and the 7 pages that follow contain Il est/Il a/Il va + a feelings word. Sample words are content, tres bien, and surpris. They then sketch and create their own version using the text only template.

Food Grocery Bag Sketch and Label Activity - English - Students sketch and label on the grocery bag several of their favorite foods from the grocery store. Uses and ideas for this activity: 1. This is a great practice activity when food vocabulary are introduced. 2. Use as a back to school review of food vocabulary. 3. This is a fun speaking activity when students present their completed sketches to their classmates. 4. Decorate the hall or a bulletin with these colorful student creations. The download includes 2 slightly different versions. One contains the activity instructions and the other does not include instructions so the activity can be modified, if desired.

Spanish Culture Postcards from Spain Translations - City, Weather and Clothing - This set includes 4 postcards written by Maria about 4 of Spain's great, historic cities: Madrid, Barcelona, Toledo, and Sevilla. Students learn about Spanish culture while they translate them from Spanish to English. There is one page labeled as follows: 1. 10 labeled rooms, plus garage, patio, and hallway 2. Each room word is underlined and the contents of each room are labeled with arrows pointing to many of the words. 3. There are over 50 images labeled with Spanish words. There is also one page with images that students can label. Uses for this item: 1. Present and practice vocabulary 2. Labeling assignment for students 3. Practice prepositions of location - give each student a copy of the diagram. Dictate 2 words and have students determine an appropriate preposition for the words. 4. Spanish Numbers and Math Listening Activity - Football Theme - This Spanish numbers listening activity will hold the attention of your students as they make their way around the oval writing the Spanish numbers that you dictate! After all numbers are dictated, students quickly do the math to find the correct final answer based on the numbers that they heard and wrote.
