A great resource to use with the children to celebrate St. Patrick's Day. A pdf file for Key Stage 1 which may also be useful for lower ability Key stage 2 or SEN. This is the third in the series of My Colour Books for Early years and KS1 children. It is themed for Summer with colourful graphics. The tasks are to complete sentences using the correct colours, visual awareness is important and recognition of colours essential. There are also two wordmaps which could be laminated one on Seaside words and one on colours. These could be used as aids for writing ecxercises. This is an original poem written by me about a seaside town in Victorian times compared with the town today. It has previously been published as a stand alone poem but not with worksheets included. the worksheets involve comprehension, Spag,internet research, historical facts and drawing conclusions. it is suitable for KS2 or upper KS1.The worksheets allow for differentation or can be printed out as an entire workbook. It is a PDF file consisting of a series of my own photographs taken in various locations from Montreal to The Rockies, including views of Niagara Falls, Thousand Islands, Native American Totem Poles and Lake Louise. These are suitable for all age groups, there are no notes but all photographs are labelled and there is a discussion wordmat included. They can be used for art classes,Geography looking at landscapes, glaciation and History of the people of Canada. These examples of landscapes in Canada would be useful as a resource for class discussion comparing the children's location with Canada.
