Cromwell Assessment - Historiography / Interpretation

Students should have prior knowledge of Cromwell before the lesson. Stuarts and Civil War Bundles available Each PPT is a presentation with varying degrees of complexity and density. The standard PPT should be discussed with students and the PDF Handout should be enough of a prompt for students to tackle the assessment. The PPT also has a model answer.

Cause Event Consequence & Thomas Beckett

CEC Presentation is the main resource. Cause Event and Consequence can be taught as a story. The story of Thomas Beckett is a perfect example of an event that has different causes leading up to it. There are causes jumbled up and of different complexity depending on your class. There is also an opportunity to look at bias sources on the event if you are so inclined and can gather more resources.

This is useful in revising the subjects of the key topics. Students can RAG each part of the topic. All 9 slides could be printed on a large A3 sheet I would print 3 slides to a page and leave the right-hand side for notes for when they RAG the topics a second time. There are also samples for my paid resources. These contain around 30% of the paid versions.
