I'm a French, German and English teacher and love creating useful resources for my students to use in the classroom, as well as for homework tasks, to help them love languages and develop their language skills at the same time. I enjoy sharing these resources with other teachers. Some of my language resources are free, but as they take me a long time to make, I do charge a small fee for my some of them.
I hope you enjoy using my MFL resources in your language classroom!

2 WORKSHEETS FOR STUDENTS WITH QUESTIONS ABOUT THE HISTORY OF THE GDR
1 PPT with my own answers (you may wish to watch the clip and edit answers, although it’s not 100% necessary!)
A worksheet to be used whilst watching avery accessible 45-minute video from br.de about the history of the DDR. The video is in German and the questions relate directly to the video and are in order of information.
I split this up with my Year 12 film students into 4 lessons:
Firstly, we translated the questions and guessed what the answers could be / discussed this in small groups and as a class
Secondly, students watched the video in their own time (as homework) to get the gist and add little bits to their sheets
Finally, we worked together in the lesson - I played the video and stopped for each question. Students worked in pairs and fours to add further information and then I went through it with them to complete the worksheet.
A useful one-page PDF worksheet for students to put all their current knowledge on the main historical elements of the film Goodbye Lenin in one place.
This worksheet was used in conjunction with PPTs and the Hodder Goodbye Lenin Film Study guide for students to assess their understanding of: der historische Hintergrund des Films.
I got my film students in Year 12 to put their current knowledge down, share that with a partner and do the same a further two times. I did insist on them writing in German too, in order for them to have a good level of vocabulary when it came to writing their film essays.
PLEASE NOTE: Answers not included!
