A one-page summary of all key elements of music information for this piece, including one version with answers and a blank version so you can test yourself.
This is a two-sided worksheet on All I Ask of You from Phantom aimed at Years 7-8. The first page includes a simple multiple-choice listening quiz (e.g. what voice type); the second page involves basic analysis of the first two pages of the sheet music, some labeling of the score (e.g. treble clef, bar line), a simple ‘treasure hunt’, copying out the treble clef 5 times and an extension task asking students to copy the first line of the vocal part in full. The resource includes a worksheet (Word), presentation (PowerPoint) and score (PDF). The listening is based on the first Youtube link to the song.
This is a listening quiz with four songs totaling 30 marks. There is a range of questions of varying difficulty, including one aural dictation question. This quiz is ideal for GCSE students, but could be used for KS3 if you had studied Bhangra a little. Most questions focus on generic elements of music questions.
This simple Excel sheet outlines all the skills pupils are required to learn according to the Eduqas spec. It has columns on the right for Red, Amber, Green ratings and can be printed as a worksheet for students. Hopefully, it saves you a little time combing through the spec. This is meant to go alongside my extensive PLC Quiz that helps students work out their ability in the listening and appraising categories.
