This lessons were created for AQA A Level history unit 1C, but can be used for any post 16 study of the Tudors. It is a two part lesson considering historical arguments regarding Thomas Wolsey. Part 1: An enquiry into whether Thomas Wolsey served himself or the king Part 2: A historiographical debate into whether or not Wolsey was responsible for his own downfall It provides students with the opportunities to study different historical interpretations and reach judgments in preparation for both essay writing and historical interpretation questions.
