Make links with Mao in the Early 1950s. * Identify and explain Mao's atttitude towards the west before and during the Korean War. * Investigate the causes and main events of the Korean War and Chinese involvement. * Complete a card sort activity to prioritise the positive and negative impact of the Korean War on China. * Investigate and analyse communist propaganda linked to the Korean War. * Homework task - Complete essay to decide if the Korean War was worth fighting for Mao.
