October 2022
The Tes SEND Show brings the expertise of the SEND education community together, to share knowledge and expertise. The show included seminars in over 40 topics, including neurodiversity, dyslexia, grammar skills, reading and the SEND review. The exhibition included real practical takeaways for teachers, SEND practitioners and social workers to implement in a range of settings.
The Tes Institute team and product experts from Class Charts and Provision Map represented Tes at the show. The main topic of conversation was apprenticeships: both the TA Level 3 and the Postgraduate TA Level 6 sparked interest with school leaders. Many are not aware that the levy pays at least 95% of the course fees, so at a time when budgets are really tight, apprenticeships went down well.
The Tes SEND Show was a great opportunity for us to connect with school leaders on the important area of SEND education.
