We have a total of 478 children at Hexham Middle School aged 9-13 and 1,233 students at Queen Elizabeth High School aged 13-18, including 375 in the sixth form. According to the 2013 Kirkland Rowell parental surveys, 92% of HMS parents and 93% of QEHS parents would recommend the school to others. There is much that is already good in our schools: confident, well-behaved learners, dedicated, loyal staff, supportive parents, skilled governors.
