About Prospere Learning Trust
Prospere Learning Trust was formed in September 2017 through the merger of two multi academy trusts. We currently employ over 1000 staff and we believe that our staff play a vital role in achieving our vision. We believe that great schools thrive because of the great people in them. The Trust currently comprises of 9 schools, including 4 mainstream high schools and 5 special needs schools (both primary and secondary) with further schools anticipated across Greater Manchester. With ambitious plans for growth and supporting academies to become the best they can be, every child is provided with the opportunity to develop the skills to be confident and successful.

Teacher Training
The Trust offers outstanding primary and secondary routes into teaching with both mainstream and special schools.
Primary with SEND
Our Primary Education: Inclusion with SEND programme allows you the opportunity to train to teach in both mainstream and specialist settings. We work in partnership with the University of Cumbria and, upon successful completion, candidates are awarded a PGCE with qualified teacher status.
Secondary
We have four mainstream secondary schools dedicated to training teachers through the School Direct route. This is a school-led teacher training programme where you are attached to a Prospere Trust school from the very first day of your training. We work with the Manchester Teaching School Alliance and Manchester Metropolitan University to deliver this course.

Central Services
We ensure that our schools receive continuous consistent operational support through our recently centralised service teams. The Central MAT Team includes HR, Finance, Estates, IT and Catering. This multi-functional, dedicated and continually developing team works tirelessly to support the efficient and effective running of our schools, enabling staff at school level to focus on delivering exceptional education to all children and young people.
Network Groups
The Prospere Learning Trust believes in working collaboratively to ensure the best outcomes and life chances for students. There are several network groups comprising staff from all Trust schools focusing on key areas from curriculum and literacy to wellbeing and community of belonging. The network groups are designed to support the MAT Improvement Plan, develop and share best practice and promote cross Trust collaborative working.
