About Shebbear College
Founded in 1841 and steeped in history, Shebbear College is a thriving day and boarding school for girls and boys aged 4 to 18. Our 85-acre campus is situated in the beautiful Devon countryside, close to Exmoor and Dartmoor National Parks and the fantastic surfing beaches of the North Cornwall coast.
Life at Shebbear is busy, filled with academic purpose, co-curricular activity, creative discovery and outdoor adventure - we believe in a broad, extensive education where pupils excel in all areas of the curriculum. Shebbear pupils consistently achieve excellent A-level, BTEC and GCSE results year-on-year. We are proud to be a non-selective school and we believe that our pupils succeed because they are happy at school. Since my daughter has joined Shebbear we have seen the most incredible change in her confidence. The teachers encourage the pupils to be 'themselves', give everything a go and not to worry about making mistakes. As a result she has thrown herself into every aspect of school life.
