0.5 Lecturer – Sport and Exercise Science

We require a Lecturer to teach on and develop a range of Sport and Exercise Science modules. The modules may include OCR and Pearson Level 2 and Level 3. A background in subjects such as Physiology, skill acquisition and analysis would be desirable but not essential.  

The post holder will be responsible for personal tutoring and delivering key topic areas in Sport and Exercise Science from Levels 2 to 3. Coordination of one of the specified programme areas may form part of this role. 

A sport related Degree is essential, and an MSc in a Sports discipline is desirable. You must also hold, or be prepared to work towards, a Level 5 teaching qualification. Experience of teaching to exams on the new RQF pathways is desirable.
