Waingels, a popular 11-18 school where students achieved above national average in all measures and was identified as “continuing to be good” in a recent OFSTED inspection, is seeking to appoint a third in department for Art & Design. The ability to teach more than one Art discipline or Media to at least GCSE level is preferable, there may be the opportunity for A-level teaching for the right candidate.
This is a key role within the school and would be ideal for an experienced practitioner who already has experience of a subject leadership position or is seeking their first TLR in a subject setting.
The successful candidate will lead will work closely with the Head of Subject and 2i/c for Art & Design, leading on agreed aspects of Art & Design teaching across the department and making a significant contribution to this highly successful department and promoting Art & Design in the school and local community.
