ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking to appoint as soon as possible, an Administrative Assistant to work within our attendance team in our busy student reception. Main duties include; updating student attendance data, checking class registers, performing first day response calls/text and responding to student and parent queries throughout the day. A knowledge of SIMS.net would be an advantage.

 At times you may be deployed in the main office of school. Main duties for the main office include; general admin tasks to support the Office Manager. These will include (but not limited to)

  • filing
  • assisting with school correspondence via post (mail merge) and email
  • responding to queries via email and telephone
  • ensuring the smooth running of the school’s main reception, greeting visitors and answering telephones
  • supporting our reprographics department with small print jobs
  • supporting school meals administration

The successful candidate should possess good IT and typing skills.
