Woodley School and College is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and capable Advanced Business Support Officer to work in our busy office.

Salary:           Grade 7

Hours:             37 hours per week, working during office hours in term time, plus 5 inset days and 5 days in the holidays.

Contract Type: Permanent

Role:             Special Educational needs (SEN)

 

Woodley School and College is a Kirklees Local Authority aspirational, inclusive and outward looking special school in Huddersfield for children aged 5-19 with complex autism. There are currently 150 pupils on roll. 

The school is rated as 'Good' by Ofsted (2023), holds Advanced Autism Accreditation and is the Autism Education Trust licensed training provider for Kirklees Local Authority. This recognises the highest standards of autism expertise and practice and underpins the school’s important role as a school training hub.

An exciting opportunity has arisen within our friendly and busy business support team. We want an effective and motivated professional who is resilient, willing to learn with ambition for the pupils, themselves and the school. You will work closely with the Business Manager and the Senior Leadership Team to manage aspects of SEN (please see context sheet for more information) along with all other aspects of the office in line with the job purpose, employee specification and contect sheet attached.
