Job overview

We have an exciting opportunity for an After School Care Manager to lead and be responsible for the day to day organisation of the After School provision at Highfield and Brookham School, providing high standards of care and play opportunities for the children in a safe and secure environment.

You will be passionate about all aspects of childcare and education and be able to bring new ideas to the role. You will need to have a caring and dynamic approach, as well as an ability to lead and motivate a range of staff.

Recent experience of working with children aged 2-8 years and NVQ Level 3 in Child Care / Playwork or equivalent are essential, as is a good knowledge and understanding of equal opportunities and special educational needs.

You will also need to have excellent communication skills and good organisational skills. Relevant supervisory/management experience would be an advantage.

Working hours will be from 3.00pm to 6.30pm Monday to Friday, term time only (approximately 34 weeks)
