Job Title: Assistant Headteacher - Personal Development, Behaviours and Attitude
Location: Belmont Secondary School, Rawtenstall
Salary: Up to £45,365.00 per annum dependent on experience
Hours: 37.5 hours per week; Monday to Friday
Contract: Permanent, Term Time only

As part of our continued growth, we are looking for an Assistant Headteacher to join our wonderful team at Belmont Secondary School located in Rawtenstall.
About the role
In addition to agreed responsibilities as a member of the Leadership Team you will undertake an active role in the leadership, management and strategic development of the school.
Job Purpose
- To assist the Head of School in developing the school as a high quality specialist provision for pupils with social, emotional and mental health difficulties (SEMH);
- To uphold the ethos, aims and values of the school, its policies and codes of practice at all times;
- To help manage the structure and organisation of the school day;
- To manage the school in the absence of the Head of School and Deputy Head Teacher as appropriate;
- To carry out the agreed specific duties of the Assistant Head Teacher (Behaviour and Attitudes and Personal Development).

Belmont School has an enviable reputation for turning pupils previous failures into success across the north west of England.
