Merchant Taylors’ School is a leading Independent School for boys aged 11-18. The School has an established Examinations Team and is seeking to recruit experienced Assistant Invigilators to join our existing pool of invigilators. The main purpose of the role is to assist the Head of Examinations and the existing pool of invigilators to run a variety of internal and external exams.

Previous experience in invigilating is desirable (not necessarily as a lead invigilator). Professionalism and an understanding of the role and the examining body legislation as well as strong organisational and communication skills are essential.

Start date: November 2024.

This is an "as and when" (Term-time only) role; in order to adequately offer the slots that require filling within the timetabling all invigilators on the register of casual staff will be asked to offer sufficient availability to allow allocation of at least 6 slots during the spring term and at least 10 slots over the summer term where they are available.
