The main purpose of this role is:

·        To support and manage the provision of a high quality catering service which meets the needs of the students and the school and ensures that outstanding catering standards are achieved.

·        To ensure the food offering provided is nutritional and meets the School Food Standard.

·        To create and implement a variety of seasonal and nutritional menus.

·        To ensure a pleasant presentation of food in all dining outlets.

·        To support the Kitchen Manager.

·        To undertake any relevant training and to arrange and support the training of the Kitchen team including statutory food hygiene training.

·        To support in updating the Food Safety and Hygiene Policy.
