Job overview

We are seeking to recruit and develop a higher-level Apprentice to join our busy finance department based in Solihull. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a FE College with a turnover of over £43m and a reputation for outstanding financial management.

 

The ideal candidate will have completed their AAT Level 4 or ACCA/CIMA equivalent and be ready to progress their ACCA Applied Skills or CIMA Managerial level. This postholder will be fully supported in their progression of either of these qualifications.

 

The Apprentice will a pivotal role in the day to day function of the Management Accounts Team and will be working with a number of experienced colleagues to receive excellent on the job training and gain an excellent breadth of knowledge and experience in the FE sector.

 

The postholder will have proven experience in a management accounts role and have excellent IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel and a keen interest to work closely with the department’s finance systems.

 

Excellent communication skills and an ambition to progress will be key to building effective relationships within the wider organisation.
